UESI has established the membership grade of UESI Fellow to recognize its most outstanding members.

A UESI Fellow is someone who is recognized in the field by their peers, as a leader in pipelines, or surveying, and/or utility engineering. 

Selected to present at GHD’s 2025 Global Technical Conference in Manchester, UK, which brought together more than 100 technical leaders from across GHD’s global network. I presented “Advancing Pipeline Integrity: Engineering, Asset Management, and AI,” highlighting the integration of engineering, asset management, and AI to support pipeline integrity and infrastructure decision-making.

Award is made annually to the most outstanding younger member of UESI.

Selected to participate in the 2023 GHD Technical Conference in Abu Dhabi, bringing together technical professionals from across GHD’s global network. I presented my work on the application of artificial intelligence in infrastructure asset management and condition assessment, highlighting opportunities to use emerging technologies to improve infrastructure assessment and decision-making. 

Award to the application I worked on day and night with AECOM team. 

This award is given to a Building Transformations Member company that demonstrates leadership and innovation in delivering commercially available technology that improves productivity through digital workflows, processes and or software.

Selected as an Outstanding Reviewer for the ASCE Journal of Pipeline Systems Engineering and Practice, recognizing my contributions to the peer-review process and commitment to supporting the quality and advancement of research in pipeline engineering, condition assessment, and infrastructure asset management.

Recognized as a 2020 Global Challenge Innovator by AECOM Ventures for contributing an innovative idea aimed at addressing industry challenges and advancing the application of emerging solutions within the infrastructure sector. The recognition highlighted forward-thinking approaches with the potential to improve how infrastructure projects and services are planned, delivered, and managed. 

As part of the AECOM Canada team, I participated in the AECOM x Google Cloud Hackathon at Google’s Spruce Goose campus in Playa Vista, California. Competing against two other AECOM teams, we developed a computer vision and deep learning solution to automatically detect anomalies in sewer pipelines from inspection imagery. Our solution was selected as the winning project, demonstrating the early potential of AI and computer vision to advance infrastructure condition assessment and asset management.
